C2E2 will be bringing many fan favorites to Chicago during the weekend of April 21-23, 2017.
Stan Lee and Frank Miller are the featured headliners next month as C2E2 takes to McCormick Place in the Windy City. Lee recently canceled an appearance at the Big Apple Comic Con in New York as a result of the flu but is expected to be making his final C2E2 appearance next month. Lee and Miller will headline a Mainstage panel on Saturday at 11 AM: The Men, The Myths, The Legends: Stan Lee and Frank Miller One-on-One. While Lee will be appearing all three days, Miller will be making his appearance on Saturday only.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge will be making their first C2E2 appearance with a panel on Saturday afternoon. Also from the world of Marvel will be Luke Cage star Mike Colter, The Punisher‘s Jon Bernthal, and Daredevil‘s Vincent D’Onofrio. Colter, Bernthal, and D’Onofrio will have panels on Sunday afternoon.
Stranger Things cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and Gaten Matarazzo are sure to turn the fans upside down as fans patiently await the season 2 premiere at the end of October. A spotlight panel featuring Brown will be on Sunday. Wolfhard and Matarazzo will team up for a panel on Saturday in the late afternoon.
As the Power Rangers reboots this weekend, there are a few original series cast members of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers coming to Chicago next month: Walter Jones, David Yost, and Jason David Frank. Last year, cast members Austin St. John and Karan Ashley appeared over the weekend. Jones and Yost will have a panel on Sunday shortly after noon while Frank gets a spotlight panel on Friday afternoon.
On the comics side of things, Deadpool and Cable creator Rob Liefield will speak at a panel on Sunday.
The South Building at McCormick Place will play home to the Midwest’s biggest comic fans over April 21-23, 2017. The show floor will be open from 10 AM until 7 PM on Friday and Saturday with panels starting at 11 AM and going on until 10 PM. On Sunday, the floor will open at 10 AM and close at 5 PM while panels start at 10:30 AM and end at 5 PM.
