Solo: A Star Wars Story Comes Home

With the home video release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, fans can go behind the scenes with an expansion of bonus features.

There’s a nice array of bonus content featured on the second disc.  That’s right.  The bonus content is too big for any single Blu-ray disc.  Through such content, the filmmakers take us behind the scenes of some of the biggest moments in Star Wars history.  The Kessel run isn’t without some discussion on the parsec debate–including the definition flashing on screen.

Upon viewing the deleted scenes, I can see why these extended versions were cut down.  Take the first time in which Han Solo and Chewbacca meet.  The extended scene just doesn’t play to the same effect as what was seen on film.  Perhaps the one deleted scene that would have played better on screen was seeing how Han Solo found his way into the Battle of Mimban.
