The nominees were announced for the 70th Annual ACE Eddie Awards this morning and will be presented by the American Cinema Editors in January.

American Cinema Editors (ACE), the honorary society of the world’s top film editors, today announced nominations for the 70th Annual ACE Eddie Awards recognizing outstanding editing in 11 categories of film, television and documentaries. For the first time in ACE’s 70-year history, three foreign language films are among the nominees including THE FAREWELL, I LOST MY BODY and PARASITE, despite there not being a specific category for films predominantly in a foreign language. Winners will be revealed during ACE’s annual black-tie awards ceremony on Friday, Jan. 17 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be presided over by ACE President, Stephen Rivkin, ACE. Final ballots open Dec. 16 and close on Jan. 6.  For more information on the ACE Eddie Awards, feel free to check out the ACE website.
