Critics Choice Super Awards: My Ballot

The Critics Choice Super Awards aired on Sunday night and as a voting member, I would like to present how I voted for the movie awards.

Voting took place over December 4-5, 2020.  Some categories were not easy when some of your favorite films were so close together.  In other categories, the decision was a no-brainer.  All in all, seven of my choices were the winners in their category.

Like so many others, I have not been going to movie theaters during a pandemic.  Had Warner Bros. sent their Tenet review copies or awards screeners ahead of voting, I would have seen the film before voting.  Would my votes for the Critics Choice Super Awards have changed?  Most certainly not.  Moreover, it would be completely unfair to Spike Lee and the cast and crew of Da 5 Bloods to not vote in the category.  Not being able to see Tenet before voting is solely on Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros.  Granted, they made the decision to release the film during a pandemic.

Because I am in the film and documentary branches, I am not eligible to vote for the television awards.
