Time Life is releasing The Ultimate Richard Pryor Collection: Uncensored, a 13-disc set with 26 hours of footage on September 28.

When they started to honor comedians with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, Richard Pryor became the first recipient in 1998. In 2017, Rolling Stone would rank him as the #1 best stand-up comic of all-time. Most recently, I am Richard Pryor premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2019 before later airing on Comedy Central. There will never be another comedian like Richard Pryor ever again.
