Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection Arrives on 4K UHD

The Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection arrives on 4K UHD just in time for the celebration of First Contact Day.

Paramount has been slowly releasing the Star Trek films in 4K UHD. Outside of the Kelvin trilogy, the first four films starring The Original Series cast made their arrival in 4K back in October 2021. The release was followed by Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition and all six films released together in 4K UHD. It was only a matter of time before we saw Picard, Riker, Data, LaForge, Worf, Troi, and Dr. Crusher in 4K UHD. The new release comes as the crew reunites together in Star Trek: Picard on Paramount+.

It all starts with the audience’s last glimpse at Kirk, Scott, and Chekov from The Original Series. Star Trek: Generations would shortly segue into The Next Generation era. From there, Picard and company take on the Borg in a time-travel adventure in Star Trek: First Contact. The film is the best film of the TNG era and one of overall best Star Trek films altogether. Star Trek: Insurrection and Star Trek Nemesis round out the TNG collection.

In addition to each film being available on 4K UHD, they are also included on the Blu-ray. The collection also includes a Digital copy and legacy bonus features.
