2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards: The Winners

Oppenheimer won big as the winners of the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards were announced during a ceremony on February 18.

David Tennant hosted the ceremony at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. Audiences were able to watch on BBC One, iPlayer, and Britbox. Films taking home multiple BAFTA Awards included Oppenheimer, Poor Things, The Zone of Interest, and The Holdovers.

June Givanni was presented with the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award.

The BAFTA Fellowship was presented to actress and director Samantha Morton. The Fellowship is the highest accolade bestowed by BAFTA in recognition of an individual’s outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, television or games across their career.

Christopher Nolan took home his first BAFTA win for Best Director. Meanwhile, The Zone of Interest is the first film to win both Outstanding British Film and Film not in the English Language.
