52nd Annie Awards Winners Announced (Live Updates)

ASIFA-Hollywood is presenting the 52nd Annie Awards in a Saturday night ceremony recognizing the year’s best in the field of animation. It is a busy Saturday night with the Annie Awards, DGA Awards, and PGA Awards taking place on the same night. Unlike the PGA and DGA Awards, the Annie Awards streaming live from UCLA’s Royce Hall on YouTube.

Steve Buscemi starts out the show by honoring the local area fire departments after the recent Los Angeles wildfires.

The hall was evacuated due to a fire alarm going off following the announcement of the Best Editorial – TV/Media winner. Following a brief evacuation, the show is resuming with a new YouTube stream.

The Wild Robot and Arcane swept every Annie Awards category in which they were nominated.
