TNT Sports and CBS Sports announced tip times and matchups for Sunday’s Second Round coverage as March Madness continues over the weekend.
CBS Sports and TNT Sports have announced tip times and matchups for Second Round coverage of the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship on Sunday, March 23 (Noon-Midnight ET), with all 67 games available live in their entirety across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and NCAA March Madness Live. The night’s coverage will conclude with Inside March Madness presented by Buick on TBS. Exclusive live coverage will continue with Second Round action on Saturday, March 22, beginning at Noon, ET. Games airing on TBS, TNT and truTV will also stream live on Max. Games airing on CBS will also stream live on Paramount+.
Following are tip times and commentator assignments for Sunday’s Second Round games. Tip times for next Thursday and Friday’s Regional Semifinals will be announced on Sunday after the conclusion of the day’s games.
The March Madness pick of the day is the Kentucky Wildcats against the Illinois Fighting Illini, airing at 5:15 PM ET on CBS. The Wildcats–coached by 1995-96 team captain Mark Pope in his first season at Kentucky–are back in the second round for the first time since 2023. However, the team is looking to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2019. The failure of advancing deep in the tournament is part of the reason why Big Blue Nation began to grow upset with current Arkansas Razorbacks coach John Calipari. The winner of the Kentucky-Illinois matchup will face the winner of Saturday night’s game between Tennessee and UCLA in the Sweet 16.
This year’s NCAA Men’s Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, April 5, and Men’s National Championship on Monday, April 7, will air on CBS.
