The latest GRAMMY concert special, A GRAMMY Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl, celebrates the 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Tonight’s special comes two weeks after CBS aired A GRAMMY Salute to Earth, Wind & Fire.
This all-star concert filmed over two nights at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl celebrates the beloved music of Cyndi Lauper as she concludes her international, year-long Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour. The event will feature exclusive performances of the GRAMMY, EMMY, Tony winner and 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s iconic songs. Special guests include Joni Mitchell, Cher, Angelique Kidjo, John Legend, SZA, Mickey Guyton, Trombone Shorty and Jake Wesley Rogers, with a video tribute from Brandi Carlile.
Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers will have access to stream the concert special live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on-demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.
I have scheduling conflicts and am unable to be updating the set list as songs are sung in A GRAMMY Salute to Cyndi Lauper. What I can tell you is that the below set lists are from the August 29-30 concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, performed during the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour. Lauper is not retiring and is still open to occasional performances, but she wanted to still do a major arena tour while she still could. They will likely be airing the songs out of order and there is a good chance that some songs will not make it into the broadcast given the time constraints.
