Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Legacy Collection Is Available on DVD

Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Legacy Collection packages Seasons 1-7 together in one collection that fans can bring home on DVD from Universal Studios. The set was released in late October 2025.

The half-hour anthology series was created, hosted, and produced by Alfred Hitchcock. It aired on CBS and NBC, alternately, between 1955-65. Featuring dramas, thrillers, and mysteries, it would be renamed The Alfred Hitchcock Hour between 1962-65, starting with season 8. The Master of Suspense only directed 17 of episodes during the run. This set does not include any episodes from Seasons 8-10. Alfred Hitchcock Presents Seasons 1-7 consisted of 268 episodes but the collection only features 263 of them. The missing episodes are from Seasons 6-7.

Directors include Robert Stevens (44 episodes), Paul Henreid (28 episodes), Herschel Daugherty (24 episodes), Norman Lloyd (19 episodes), Alfred Hitchcock (17 episodes), Arthur Hiller (17 episodes), James Neilson (12 episodes), Justus Addiss (10 episodes), and John Brahm (10 episodes), Robert Altman, Ida Lupino, Stuart Rosenberg, Robert Stevenson, David Swift and William Friedkin.
