Regretting You is Available on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD set for February 17

Romantic drama Regretting You follows It Ends With Us as the second feature film to be adapted from a novel written by bestselling author Colleen Hoover. The film is now available to rent or buy on Digital with over 20 minutes of bonus features from Paramount Home Entertainment. The Regretting You Blu-ray and DVD release has been set for February 17, 2026.

In 2007, 17-year-old Morgan Davidson (Allison Williams) learns she is pregnant by her boyfriend Chris (Scott Eastwood) and confides in Jonah (Dave Franco), her sister Jenny’s (Willa Fitzgerald) boyfriend, who is secretly in love with her. Seventeen years later, Morgan and Chris are married and raising Clara (Mckenna Grace). Jenny and Jonah, now parents to Elijah, reconnect after years apart. Clara meets classmate Miller Adams (Mason Thames) while he is moving the city-limits sign, and they bond over their shared interest in filmmaking. As Clara becomes more drawn to Miller, she learns he has broken up with his girlfriend Shelby due to their growing attraction.

When Chris and Jenny die in a car crash, Morgan and Jonah assume the two were having an affair. Clara rebels by sneaking off with Miller, straining her relationship with Morgan. Eventually, Morgan and Jonah find Chris’s car at a hotel, confirming the infidelity. Meanwhile, Jonah worries Chris may be Elijah’s biological father, but Clara persuades him to continue raising the boy. Clara deepens her connection with Miller as he admits fears about leaving his grandfather (Clancy Brown) for college, and their friend group expands to include Lexie (Sam Morelos) and Efren (Ethan Costanilla). Jonah later plays Morgan a song tied to their shared past.

Morgan disapproves of Clara’s romance, haunted by how it began, and she and Jonah uncover Jenny’s hidden letters to Chris. As Morgan throws herself into home projects and Clara focuses on college plans, tensions escalate until Morgan catches Clara and Miller asleep together. At Clara’s uneasy birthday dinner, news of her college acceptance sparks another fight. Clara later drinks at Jenny’s grave with Lexie, prompting Morgan to reveal the truth about the accident and reassure Clara she wasn’t responsible. Clara reconciles with Miller, while Morgan and Jonah finally act on their long-buried feelings. At a family party, Miller screens a video confessing his two-year crush, and he and Clara go to prom. They later move the city-limits sign.

I didn’t get to seeing the film in theaters in part because the screening invite came after committing to another film. Regretting You is the sort of film that is in the same vein as those adapted from the work of Nicholas Sparks. If you like those books or Hoover’s work in general, Regretting You may be your kind of film.
