The winners of the 32nd Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA (formerly the SAG Awards) are being announced in a live telecast streaming on Netflix. Produced by Silent House Productions, the ceremony is taking place at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.

Legendary actor Harrison Ford will be presented with the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, the union’s highest honor.

One of awards season’s premier events, the Actor Awards annually celebrates the outstanding motion picture and television performances from the previous calendar year (eligibility period: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025). The Actor Awards are the only top industry honors where actors vote on actors, selected entirely by SAG-AFTRA members, which boasts over 118,000 eligible voters. Final voting opened on Wednesday, January 14, and closed at Noon PT on Friday, February 27.

Sticking with previous years, both awards for stunt ensembles were announced live on the red carpet.

Love Delroy Lindo’s “I’m an actor” intro. Kate Hudson drew the laughs with hers. But it’s Michael J. Fox who draws the largest applause.

The stage name bit is fun. They couldn’t help but poke fun at John Travolta saying Adele Dazeem rather than Idina Menzel at the Oscars.

Seth Rogen takes a dig at WGA for not paying its staff and having to cancel their awards show.

Upon Catherine O’Hara’s posthumous win for The Studio, Seth Rogen steps up to the microphone. He was “asked to assume the sad honor” of accepting the award on her behalf.

Ah, yes, the 22-episode season. It feels like forever ago when actors had jobs for most of the year and this just speaks to how streaming has changed the game in the past decade. In fact, only one of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series nominees is a broadcast series. Everything else nominated for The Actor Awards is on a streaming service.
