Sharknado 5: Global Swarming features Many Cameos

SyFy’s newest installment, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, featured a ton of celebrities making cameo appearances as Sharknadoes formed across the globe.

The newest film, naturally, ends on a cliffhanger as older Gil (Dolph Lundgren) comes back from to future to help his dad, Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering).  Gil got pulled into the Sharknado earlier and they chase after him throughout the globe.

Coming into the final scene, it would have appeared that the series was going to end with just about every character in this film having died, including the major ones of April Shepard (Tara Reid) and Nova Clark (Cassie Scerbo).  The adventure continues in Sharknado 6.

The scenes with Fin and Nova at a cave below Stonehenge are full of Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark references.
