DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Season 4 Hits Blu-ray

Season 4 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the most bonkers series in television, is now available for fans to bring home on Blu-ray and DVD.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow doesn’t fit easily into one box.  If given the choice to vote for drama, comedy, and campy, there isn’t an easy decision.  I don’t know whether this ought to be a credit to the writers or not.  Somewhere along the way, they decided this shouldn’t be the traditional comic book series.  It’s grown into something of its own beast so to speak.  As I told Billy Zane after interviewing him during Wizard World Chicago in August, his portrayal of P.T. Barnum was better than Hugh Jackman’s in The Greatest Showman!

Season four saw the Legends save the world from magical creatures that were released following the season 3 finale.  Appropriately, this led to Matt Ryan joining the cast as a regular.  With the end of the season, they’ve reinvented the wheel once again.  Time will tell what happens in January during Crisis on Infine Earths.

The cast includes Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, Courtney Ford, and Ramona Young, Nick Zano, Dominic Purcell, and Matt Ryan. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.  Executive producers include Greg Berlanti, Phil Klemmer, Keto Shimizu, Grainne Godfree, and Sarah Schechter.

The blu-ray comes with a handful of bonus content in addition to all sixteen episodes from the fourth season.
