Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Trailer

Marvel Studios released a new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness just before kickoff of Super Bowl LVI.

The official trailer follows the post-credits teaser that followed Spider-Man: No Way Home in December.

Today, during the Big Game coverage, Marvel Studios debuted a brand-new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that took viewers on a mind-blowing whirlwind through the Multiverse. In addition, Marvel Studios also released a new poster for the supernatural adventure.

In the newest Marvel Studios film, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

There’s a moment in the trailer where Doctor Strange approaches who we think is going into be Kang. Instead, it’s the unmistakable voice of Patrick Stewart. Listen, there’s no guarantee that the legendary actor will be reprising his role of Professor Charles Xavier. For all we know, he could very well be playing a completely new character. We’ll certainly know for sure in May. But until then, let’s bring on the excitement for the newest Marvel film!

If you saw the teaser, it’s a good idea to make yourself familiar with last year’s animated series, What If?… While there’s no guarantee that it’s the same exact version we saw in the series, chances are likely that it’s a similar version from elsewhere in the universe. In any event, May 6 cannot get here soon enough!

The sequel stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.

The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron.

Marvel will release Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 6, 2022.
